The calendar will be as comprehensive as possible, including jewelry tradeshows and trade fairs, as well as precious stones shows, seminars, and conferences. The rough diamond market is taking center stage as there are more and more participants in the process from diamond exploration, to mining, production, financing, marketing, branding, analysis, etc. In August, 2001, the World Diamond Conference that was held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, brought together 400 participants from 29 countries.
